What is your Resolution this year??

We all make them, Resolutions, no matter how big or small. We make them and then we discard them like trash!!! Well Last year I made a small one, you know baby steps, something to build on and last year my Resolution was to keep up with the laundry so that I did not spend a whole day off doing laundry....and I did it!! Through out all of '08 I made myself throw a load in even if I did not want to and I did it and at the end of the year when I evaluated my Resolution I realized that had accomplished something, and it is a valuable something. So to build on that this year I made new resolution to go along with the one from last year... and here it is (drum roll if you don't mind!) I resolve to keep my Kitchen counters tidy and mail free... This may sound like an easy job, but then you do not live with Hubby, the king of piles!!!! So far so good, but then it's only been 6 days.

Together Hubby and I made a joint Resolution and that is to take the dogs out more. We took them once again to the beach and discovered, in our own neighborhood, a dog park. So we have no excuses and once the evenings get lighter we can take them down and walk along the pier on the island. So since we went to the beach again I will tell you it was cold!!! and not only that but Daisy dog jumped in the water and loved it (what an odd dog) and Lili hopped up on the rocks and a small wave crashed and salt water went up her nose and I got a great shot of it, check out the pictures below!!!

Mum and I went out yesterday to run some errands and we were disappointed to see that some of the stores had not yet recovered from the Christmas sales. We did however, get what we wanted we just had nothing to look at!!

I have ordered some books off of Amazon and I am awaiting their arrival, as they are cookbooks and I want to make new things for us to eat!!! I am tracking the progress and judging from where they are according to the tracking I do not understand what is taking so long!! Oh well it will be worth the wait... I hope!

Well let me know what your resolutions are and how you are doing with them, we must support each other!!! Til next time....

Hey Janie,

My resolution is to make time to keep in REAL touch with all the people that mean alot to me. Our lives can take a turn and change in a day, and I don't want to take for granted that I will always have tomorrow to see friends and family. I know that emails aren't the same as seeing each other, but I feel that at least that let's them know that I'm thinking of them. As always, I really enjoy your blog, it's always very entertaining.

Thanks for your thoughtful words,

Love, Moira
