To bring you up to date....

Memory ruled out this week and I had a nice one!! It gets easier and easier to let go of the anger and embrace the memories of a life gone far to soon. But not to dwell!!!

Mum and I drove down to my Sisters on Tuesday, early really really early!! I had promised to paint my Sisters dining room for her and decided that Tuesday was the day and what a day it was filled with many parallels, it was 2 years ago that we drove to my Sisters after my Dad died to get away from everything for the day and here we are 2 years later driving there again!!! So I guess that December 30th forever belongs to Richmond!! Oh there we go dwelling again! Anyway the room looks good and Sister even took our recommendation and purchased a new light for over the dining table, my how we are growing!!! Years ago if I liked something she would have went in the complete opposite direction and vice versa!! We returned home late, very very late okay like 9:30pm but we had left at 7am so that's kind of a long day, but so good to do that for Sister.

New Years Eve Day... I was up by 6:30am, you have 4 dogs and think you can sleep in!!!! I go t all of Christmas packed, put away and the room all dusted and vacuumed by 10:30am and headed over to friends to exchange the last gifts, we went to lunch and had a nice time and then spent the afternoon just chatting and listening to ipods and an idog that dances with the music and has all kinds of different colors on him, he is cute!! Then I went home and Hubby and I prepared for our big night out...

New Years Eve Eve... We headed up the road to friends and made a couple of stops on the way, the first was for dinner, yes Hubby ate out my we are making strides, anyway after a yummy dinner we stopped in at Hubby's brother house and visited for a few minutes with Hubby brother and his wife and we had a nice time, then it was off to our final destination for the night and we had a nice time with friends and their dog, Roscoe, who is simply adorable and very gentle for a big doggie. HAPPY NEW YEAR... Its 2009!!!

New Years Day, we got home and the Wogadogs were so happy to see us, cause they missed us! A friend of mine had watched them whilst we were out and she did a great job!! We ate a sandwich for lunch and settled in to our chairs for an afternoon nap!! Once nap time was over it was time to make a move and do something, I cleaned up the desk area and wrote shopping lists, which I need to do soon!!!! I also made the Wogadogs Banana Bread from my doggie cookbook, since I had 2 Bananas left and they loved it!!! They were good puppies whilst we were gone so they get rewarded for that!!

That brings you up to date since Christmas and I hope everyone has made a resolution of some sort. You have to have goal otherwise what are you going to do????

Til next post.....
