Well since Easter the weather has gone from warm to winter coats!!! Well for me it has. It is freezing and I cannot get warm, unless I snuggled up in my bed!
Hubby and I are both off today and so we are going shopping for................. Rocks and not the kind that fit on my fingers or ears!!! Hubby wants to build a retaining wall in the front so that the yard has definition. So it begins The Change!!
I on the other hand am going to strip the border off the powder room walls and depending on time hope to get holes patched up as well. Ah remodeling, my favorite thing to do!!! Judging from the family room carpet a good vacuum is also in order!
I heard from my old co-worker and good friend that he is safe. He went to work for a government contractor and is currently in Afghanistan and he moved camps. I was worried about him, but his wife came in to tell me that he was safe and finally I got a message from him. I worry for his wife too, she is so strong. If my Hubby was away for almost a year in a war place I think I would be very on edge.
The Orioles started the season with 3 wins, oh the joy, they have followed it up with 3 losses, oh the sorrow, They were playing the Yankees though and took them to extra innings each time, it looks like our relief pitching needs the work this year!!!
The Capitals made the playoffs and played Boston last night and lost, in overtime, I think that just makes it better for The Caps as hopefully they are hungry and will bounce back and win :)
The Wizards are well lets not talk about them!!
Buddy had his stitches removed and the vet was so wonderful and although Buddy tooted on the vet he still gave him thank you kissy licks! Buddy then pooped all over the reception floor. I guess to show his appreciation? HA HA HA. The vet was so kind and Buddy left tail held high as I profusely apologized!! Ah, my best boy Buddy :)
So I work all weekend long and then Next Thursday Mum and I are out for the day!!! SO I should have more to report then!!!
