Wrapping up loose ends and Monday....

So Hubby finished up the floor over the weekend and it looks awesome.  The paint looks amazing and I couldn't be more thrilled.  Now it's time to load the room back up and get organized so coming up this weekend is probably going to be a HUGE purge.  I no longer feel it necessary to keep everything that I ever touched, because when we pulled everything out of the TV room to do the new floors all that stuff was everywhere and for one week I felt that I was living in a bad episode of Hoarders and I did not like it at all!

The New Floor!



So yesterday Buddy went to the vet for what I told him was a spa day!  In reality my boy had to be neutered, his teeth cleaned and 2 tumors removed.  He did so well and looked so small when the vet tech brought him out when we, my Mum went with me, to pick him up. So the day started very very early and my Mum and I took Buddy to the vets, we had to drop him off at 8:30.  Once he was at his appointment Mum and I went to breakfast at the IHOP and I had a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries on it and my Mum ordered a full breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages, and pancakes, she was then surprised that she got some much food!!  After breakfast we went to Staples because I had to drop off my broken kindle to be sent back to Amazon, they sent me a new one.  Apparently the kind I have is subjective to the screen cracking.  So once that was done we headed to Petsmart because I promised Buddy I would get him a new toy and Petsmart also has the braided rawhide in small dog size that is the perfect treat for the Wogadogs. After Petsmart we went to the Homegoods store and spent a long time and a lot of money, but the deals are so good.  I know I know, but I got towels for the powder room, that is my next project. OO I also bought a new vanity cabinet for the powder room as I loathe the pedestal birdbath sink in there.  I am getting sidetracked!! anyway after Homegoods we went to BJ's to buy bulk items, well my Mum bought bulk items, because a single lady needs 72 rolls of toilet paper at once!!! HA HA HA I tease her all the time about these things!!  So then we were thirsty and went to the mall and had a drink and a cinnamon bun because that was necessary!! HA HA HA we walked around the mall and I fell in love with recliner at Macy's home who doesn't love a recliner that is electric and it was very affordable and no I did not buy it, but! I have until April 4th until the sale ends so the jury is still out on this one!!!!!  After Macy's we went to J C Penney's to look at the curtains and for some reason my Mum got irritated with the sales lady that didn't offer to help us, I am still confused about that.  We left the mall and went to Bed Bath and Beyond and my Mum bought stuff there.  after loading the car I noticed that we might not have room for Buddy!  We really bought a lot and it was so fun!!!  I called the vet as I was instructed to do and the receptionist told me that I could pick Buddy up at 3:30 so My Mum and I went to Chilis and had cheese fries to pass the time and then we went to pick up my boy and due to our purchases he sat on my Mums lap all the way back to the house!!

When we got home the other dogs we happy to see Buddy and of course my Mum and I.  Then Buddy and I took  my Mum home and then dropped her off at Bingo!! I wonder if she won anything!!!!  Buddy's "Spa" day aside this was the best day we had in a long time.

I didn't even tell you how good Hubby's dinner was Sunday night.  It was a chuck roast and the recipe was called Daube Provencal and it melted in my mouth... delicious!
