Well The Hubby and I are getting ready to work on a room in the house! I for one am very excited. We are doing the upstairs TV room and since we use it for crafts and things like that we are going to put down a laminate floor. So of course it doesn't begin and end there!
Tomorrow I am starting removing what furniture we have in there and spackle the holes in the walls. Hubby is going to pull the carpet up over the weekend and come and pick up the flooring from the store. When I am off next Wednesday and Thursday I am going to paint the ceiling white and the walls a gray, I know it sounds odd, but it will look stunning.... TRUST me people gray is in!!!! Then next Weekend the Hubby is going to install the flooring and then when I am off the following Monday and Tuesday I am going to put the room back together again!
I do not know what excites me more, working on the house and completing another painting project, OR the Hubby completing something within 2 weeks. I know I shouldn't put the cart before the horse, but I can see the end here and it looks like a quick turn around!
Last Sunday the Hubby and i both worked in the garden. The Hubby screened a patch of dirt and planted lettuces and I seeded veggies, herbs and flowers. We are hopefully growing: Steakhouse tomatoes, Roma plum tomatoes, dark beets, eggplant, 2 types of cucumbers, green bell peppers, carrots, thyme, rosemary, chives, marjoram, parsley, oregano and sweet basil!!
It has been in the '80's the last 2 days and it is completely nuts that in March the tempretures are this high. I sure hope that the summer is not going to be super hot. I dislike the heat so much. It really messes with my allergies when the Air Conditioning is on.
Well I suppose it is time for bed, Buddy and Lili are off to the vet tomorrow morning for shots and I have to be up early and then I am taking my Mum up to my Aunts for the weekend. they are off to party for St. Patricks day.
