Temporarily....................................... HA HA HA.........................................  What were you thinking?

HA!  My Mum is away for the Holidays and so we have her bird, Corby, and he is funny.  Hubby has been playing a video game and the bird chats to his mirror constantly.  He is so cute!  The dogs aren't even bothered by the distraction anymore, not even Pepper.

So just to update you all Buddy is doing well and I think we have managed to thwart back problems for him.  He is done with the round of steroids and seems back to normal.  Of course we are still very cautious with him when it comes to stairs and jumping and he is being discouraged from doing so.

So last Sunday, on what would have been my Dads birthday, we had Christmas with my Mum and it was such a nice day. I couldn't imagine it being better unless my Dad was here.  Hubby deep fried a turkey and I made individual pecan pies in my pie maker. I may collect a lot of Kitchen gadgets, but I do use them!

I am also slightly irritated with TV shows that like to tell how many calories and fat are in things and then they make low fat versions.......... ITS CHRISTMAS PEOPLE you're supposed to eat all the fat.  Through the year we all watch what we eat so we can remember the good foods.   ha ha ha

I am so ready for Christmas and I have a problem I cannot stop buying Hubby stuff.  I think I have a problem.  I love to see him open things.  Just like I loved to see my Dad open things. Its not even that I am buying him stuff he wants.  I am just getting stuff to wrap.  I JUST WRAPPED DEODORANT AND A COFFEE FILTER! (not together!)  what is up with that?  I need help, there, I admit it!!!!!

Today is the Winter Solstice, so after today the days get longer.  Secretly I am hoping for snow.  I would love to see what my new house looks like in the snow!  Hubby things I am nuts for doing so!!! ha ha ha.

I want to just stay home and bake cookies and yummy treats, Hubby said he is going to go with the flow when it comes to eating junk, Hubby doesn't normally eat junk, so I am doing my best to fill him up with fatty goodness!!  HA HA HA.  Then the exercising starts back up :( ha ha ha!!!!!!

Well other than all the above nonsense I have nothing else to tell ya!!!  I hope that everyone is enjoying the season and that your Christmas is Merry and your bellys are jolly :)
