YAY! That's Over and What Lies Ahead

Thank goodness Halloween is done!  I do not like the "holiday", "event" or whatever it is supposed to be. I find it very disturbing and not just because it introduces candy into my diet earlier than Christmas!!!  Oh well :)

Also 10 months are gone from this year.  I am preparing for Christmas and I am so excited!! Due to moving I have been unable to decorate for 2 years so I am beside myself with excitement.  I can't wait, for me, this will be the best Christmas ever :) Oh where to put everything!  Hubby caught me taking pictures of  shelves in the house, because I want to be able to put the trinkets back where they came from after Christmas and the best way to do this is photograph each shelf so I know where everything goes when the holiday decorations come down.  I am also excited because we have doorways here and in the townhouse I had a nice way of decorating them, but the other house did not have any of these type doorways so for 6 years I didn't even use some of my most precious baubles.  AHHH I can't wait!!!

I don't mean to forget Thanksgiving.  It will be an intimate affair as only Hubby and I will be here, but then working retail makes it hard to leave the house on the only day off.  So we have decided to have prime rib for dinner with yorkshire pudding and basically a proper English Sunday Roast!  (I think the pilgrims would be okay with this!!)  Since I am not a big big fan of Turkey,  Beef is best!!!!

Hubby and I have been playing the Wii, bowling specifically, it is so fun.  Of course Hubby is better than me but thats OK I am just happy we are playing a game. Maybe I can get him to move to another game!!!  Trival Pursuit perhaps!!!

We have not done anything to our house since the party and it has been a nice respite, but in just hanging out we are notcing things that need to be addressed and so I am excited for that.  I think we work well together because we both know what we are bad at and fortunately the other is good at it!!!  Hubby is great at building and figuring things out and then I paint, because I am better at that!!!  So exciting planning our next big renovation!  Should we put a bathroom in the basement, the rough-in is ready, or bookshelves in our room, books are everywhere up there!!!  Whatever we do I am excited.  knowing Hubby he will start both. ha ha ha

Well other than that I don't really have anything else to tell you.  We are headed to a Wedding this weekend so that is exciting to be asked to be part of a couples special day.  Such an honor!

So until next post.........
