It's only been 5 weeks..... really?

Yep!!  It has only been 5 weeks since we moved in here and on a day to day basis it feels long, but in retrospect it hasn't been long at all!!

So I took off a couple of days to get things done and yesterday I picked up my Mum and we went out and got a new dining table since the other one was far too big!  We had a lovely day out and about and then came back to the house and my Mum stayed for dinner and we broke in the new table!  In looking around the house I have a few rooms completely done and others that need a lot of help!  but for the most part I am happy with how things are progressing!  The kitchen looks amazing and I can see the end, even though there is a long way to go!  My Front room is wonderful I could not be more pleased as how it turned out and the dining room is half way there!  Of course The guest room is ready for guests and so is the guest bathroom!

Today Hubby and I are going to the 3rd annual family reunion and it is supposed to be a gorgeous day with minimal humidity and rain later during the night!  How wonderful is that.  Perfection.

 and now for sports!  The poor O's are just having a rough time of it.  just when it seems we are turning the corner the wind is knocked out of the sail and it takes 3 or 4 games to get a win.  The more things change the more they stay the same!

It is so nice to just sit and be settled in our new home words cannot describe how wonderful it is.  I am thinking about breakfast.  How about bacon, sausage and eggs with toast?  yeah I think that sounds nice.  Well since it is going to be a busy day I best go, so until next post....
