Moving Right Along...

So with our new found freedom of not being chained to the house, because we sold it!, we headed out for the day on Tuesday with our Realtor to find our new house!  Okay well we had pre stalked a few homes and there was one we were interested in.  We spent over an hour in there and at the end of it we put in an offer.  So everyone fingers crossed!

Move to Saturday, yesterday, Hubby and I decided to go to the National Museum of the Marine Corps and it was such a nice day.  We got there early and because of that we were able to really look at all the exhibits and take lots of photos.  I was very impressed with how well the Museum was set up and in each section there was at least one portrayal set up and depending on what the scene was about the floor would rumble or mist would spray out in the snow it was really cold and we got to run out the back of an airplane and land in a bunker, just so cool.  We met an Iwo Jima vet who was so sweet and explained how they stormed the beach at Iwo Jima and he also said he was 18 years old when that happened and it was the first time he had ever been anywhere and he was scared but when he looked at his fellow Marines he realized they were all scared and that made them stronger.  It was very touching.  The Museum itself is beautiful and it is still under construction on the outside and there is going to be walkways and trails through the woods.  If you want something to do head to Quantico Va and see this.  Of course at the end there was a gift shop!!!

We continue to pack more and more stuff and I certainly feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Well that is all I have really, not much to report.

so until next post....
