Christmas is over.....

I sincerely hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I did and I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful gifts and gift cards that were gifted to both myself and Hubbs!! We really appreciate the thoughts that you all put into each gift you selected to present to us.

NOW... what did ya get?

Hubby got me a Kindle and a nice cover for it and also downloaded some books on it that I had been talking about and some others that I never heard of!!! Hubby also gave me a really nice card and candy :) Happy times. My Mum made a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner and put on a fire and we were so cozy I lost track of time and we stayed really really late, but were up early and out the door Christmas Morning for a huge breakfast spread at Hubby's parents home. Then it was off to the Cousins for lunch with Hubby's family and on the way back home we stopped at my Aunts for Dessert with my family and even got to chat for a quick second to the West Coasters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next I have one more day of work... (If I can get there) Mother nature decided to bestow upon us snow! Then I am off for a week and need it. I have got to get a handle on this house and pack up my new goodies for hopes of a quick sale after the New Year and to buy our new home and settle in. Hubby wants to go on a vacation this year, not that I don't, but I would rather have a new house first!!!!!!

So upcoming on Tuesday, weather permitting, My Mum, Sister and I are supposed to go to lunch to ease the heaviness of the 28th. Still brings a tear just thinking about it, so best spend it together at least we will probably laugh through it. Reflection is both sad and joyous and so necessary to grow and move forward with our own lives.

Anyway to change to subject The Ravens made the playoffs today with a nice win over the Cleveland Browns so at least one of the teams we like is doing something!!!

I hope everyone has a very safe and Happy New Year and unless we sell this house in the next week, not likely but ya never know, this is probably the last post of 2010 and I am happy to say goodbye to 2010 as it was probably my worst year for everything. (2006 being one and to its self.)
