Oops I said I was going to do better at keeping this blog up this year and so far I am worse than ever... New resolve: Do better with the blog! So how has every ones New Year been so far? Mine has been packed with well packing! We are still in the process of getting packed up. Who knew that 2 people could accumulate so much more stuff in 5 years! When we moving in here we had 1 couch, 2 chairs, 1 love seat, 2 TV stands, 2 TVs, a couple of bedside tables, 1 bed and personal items... now we have added to the furniture list an additional bed, 3 more couches, end tables a sideboard, a sofa table, a coffee table and not to mention a dining room set for 10, a treadmill.... ooooo there is just so much. I know we are lucky to have all these things, it just doesn't make me feel good when I have to pack it all up!! The books! We have books everywhere and just when I thought I had a handle on the book packing my Hubby ordered more... humph what can I do?
I just cannot focus on that stuff right now. We have moved a lot of the smaller stuff to the storage place so we really are only left with furniture. The good stuff my Mother is watching! Thanks Mum!! I know I just keep bringing more and more over to her house, but somethings I just do not want to put into storage! Our Realtor must think we are nuts for 2 months now we tell her oh in a couple of weeks we'll be ready to put our house on the market. To quote Garth Brooks "tomorrow never comes"
Also I have been contacted through ancestry.com, the place that I have been doing my family tree through, by a young lady who shares the same Great, Great grandparents as I do. So I have been doing a lot of back and forth with her. Plus I am now the proud owner of a virtual farm and I do have a full time job!!! I will not abandon this blog just because other things are going on I will just have to be more strict with myself to get to it!
Hubby and I have been planning our vacation for this year and plan to fly into Las Vegas sometime in the fall and then drive up through Utah to Salt Lake City and see all the fantastic rock formations for ourselves, I am so excited.
Hubby and i also decided, since we are moving, that we would only buy each other stocking stuffers at Christmas then Hubby went and bought me something good, he turned the tables on me, but don't worry I have plans! Big plans! I will get him back! I will keep you updated on that one though... it is not quite ready for deployment!
So that is about all that has been going on here. Back to packing I suppose so until next time....
