New Year straight ahead!

I do hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas full of merriment and good cheer! We had a nice Christmas and got to spend time with lots of family. It is so great to see everyone.

Now I know I did not post in the last couple of days, but for some reason this year was especially difficult for me and I just could not bring myself to do anything. As most of you know, if you are regular followers of this blog, Yesterday, December 28, was the 3 year anniversary of my Dad no longer to be able to be here with us all. It is still really hard to say certain words. It seemed easier to me last year. I just cannot explain it. I miss him everyday and I guess the stars lined themselves up to make for a difficult day Monday.

It is always so good to see my Dad, even if it is a picture. A lot of times I can hear him saying a lot of the silly things he would say. I missed him on Christmas because he would always be so silly and count every ones gifts like he was a kid and if he did not have the most wrapped stuff he would say: "Your Mother has got more than me, there must be another one or two around here somewhere" He was just joking but it was always so funny. Of course we would wrap up everything for him.

All that being said Christmas was fun and I know I have mentioned this in the last few posts, but my Mum decorated her house so beautifully this year, maybe it is because i was unable to decorate, but it meant a lot to me that she put a bow on anything that wouldn't move!

As this decade comes to an end, it feels like it went by so fast, it is unbelievable to see how my life has changed over the past 10 years and how the world has changed. I am looking forward to a New Year and Decade and cannot wait to see how that unravels, life no matter what is going on is simply amazing.

I cannot promise that I will post again before the New Year, but I am on vacation so you never know! but just in case I wish everyone a Happy New Year!
