What a crazy week!

Well I can't believe it has been a whole week since I last posted. This week has been nuts!! Well at least I am done with my work training all classes were passed including all my projects, which I did very well with considering I don't like school!!!

So due to Hubby's "thumb problem" No its nothing really just a poor boys way of eliciting attention!! Seriously his thumb hurt so he went to the doctors and has to take a pill the size of which a horse couldn't take all because he has "gamekeepers hand" and yes I too looked at him quizzically with raised eyebrow to which it was explained me, in his own words, "It is a medieval hand strain which back then was caused by excessive use of the hand when strangling chickens by twisting the neck of the chicken so far around with out losing grip to break the chickens neck" Yes, my eyebrows got higher, because I've known him over 10 years and I don't recall ever him doing anything with a chicken other than eating them, and lets face it they are already "strangled" by then!!! So he then told me in today's modern society it has acquired the nickname "Nintendo Thumb" Which makes more sense to me as being a child of the 70's and 80's He has played too many video games!!! Oh for his childhood playtime he has to wear a glove with a splint on the thumb part, which I have not witnessed him wearing other than to bed. I guess he will live!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The dogs are quite up in arms over the whole basement remodel and I do not think that they are that impressed!! But they are being good sports about the whole thing. Personally I too expected it to be further along, but then who am I kidding, it took 4 years to get the trim put back up and he does have an "injury" WHATEVER!!!!!

Last night Daisy lost her mind and was growling at Pepper so much so that they had to be separated and she was in what Cesar would call "the red zone" it was so angry sounding. My Daisy dog hardly ever growls so maybe she is just letting Pepper know that she is tired of being bossed about... Pepper is quite bossy to the other dogs... We promised to take them back to the beach tomorrow for a run since it will be near 60. They like going to the beach!!!

Well I must go eat breakfast so I can help sand the drywall mud and get this project moving again!!! Til next post....
