HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!

To my surprise when I got home from work tonight there were 2 dozen roses waiting for me from Hubby!! What a great Guy!!! I hope everyone is having a great valentines day and that it is filled with love so much love!!!!!

Here are my flowers:

Although Hubby was very generous with his flower giving, I don't want you to think that he is off the hook for the Basement Remodel... Oh no he better get to that this weekend I want results!! Besides he has to go for a follow up thumb appointment on Monday!!! Plus he has a 3 day weekend this week and next week. GET TO PAINTING BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though enough is enough my house is becoming a wreck!!! I need to clean and do laundry and vacuum and monitor this basement remodel situation!!!

Kisses to everyone.... Happy Love Day!

CORRECTION: This was discovered early on Valentines Day and so that Hubby gets his proper recognition - There are actually three and a half dozen roses. Two Dozen in one bouquet and one and a half dozen in the other... What a love!!!

Even though the initial reporting on my part has been corrected I still expect Basement progress. You see I have found that you cannot let yourself be overwhelmed by him he will stop all work for at least 6 months. I want this basement finished. For all of you saying what's the big deal, you don't live here and you just cannot begin to understand let me try and help you!

  1. Hubby does not do things the shortcut way, and not that I want him to.
  2. Hubby plans for months before even beginning.
  3. Hubby gets easily distracted by good weather, another project or a TV show.
  4. Hubby does not want any help.
  5. Hubby, I think, gets bored with the project half way through.
  6. Hubby gets disenfranchised when something turns out unexpected.
  7. Hubby, unlike me, can live in a mess.

So you see I have to be the neat freak that I am otherwise total chaos would ensue here and we would look like a thrift store with a bad layout that had a tornado come through! I even made him cookies, homemade spaghetti, homemade sauce and fluffy pancakes last weekend. Whoever said the way to a mans heart is through his stomach needs to let me know they way to a mans project completion because I am at a loss. this has been going on long enough!!!!! Thank goodness I work late today!!!!

Til next post.....
