Well last night was just an amazing time. One of my really great friends went with me (I upheld a promise made from 17 years ago!) and we had a fully entertaining evening. George was late! The tickets said 8pm prompt, but the show started after 8:30, but worth the wait most definitely. He sang for approx 3 hours, including a 20 minute intermission and sounded wonderful. He played practically all his fast "dance" tunes and everyone was dancing. He talked very candidly between the songs and the evening felt as if he hadn't been gone for nearly 20 years. He said that he appreciated all the people who had stuck by him even though he had abandoned America and everyone forgave him, how could you not! There is so much more I want to say, but I don't want you to think I am gushing (too much!!!!) I hope he releases more new material and comes back again and again and again!!! My friend had a good time and was surprised about how much of the songs she remembered and in the end I think she was secretly happy that I made her go!!!!!!
On the way home there were a lot of deer eating the grass on the side of the road and we even saw a mommy deer and 3 baby deer. It was a real godsend that none of them wanted to take a run across the road in front of the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well now full steam ahead to the October party, I love a good planning session!!!!!

I just skimmed over your blog. It looks great! I love the pics, especially the ones of the special puppies :)
I cannot wait to hear, " the rest of the story" of the missing pens...I doubt they will ever show up. Oh, by the way, someone stole my white out, highlighter and my chewing gum from my desk...they are everywhere!
