It has been a while friends, but I am revamping the blog!
first things first: Did everyone have a great Christmas? I did, but everyday with my Hubby is great! We got to spend time with both our families and get caught up on all things to look forward to in 2013. Of course the Hubby's family is way busier than mine, but its been so long they are my family too! That thought really struck me this year and I couldn't be more thrilled about it!
The New Year was very quiet. The Hubby and I stayed home this year and it was cozy! :)
I took the last of my vacation over the Holidays and really enjoyed hanging out around the house, of course I wanted to get so much stuff done, but I just took my time. I did get the upstairs hallway painted. You really do not realize how scuffed a wall is until you start rolling on new paint!!!
Hubby and I have decided to go to Scotland next year, 2014, and have started researching places to go and castles to visit!!! There is so much to see, we are definitely going to John O' Groats, you almost have to if you've been to Lands End, which we have!!!!
The Hubby and I have also been perfecting the food we make. It's all yummy and it is rare when we make something that we just can't eat. We are making food from around the globe and it is all delicious!
