'tis the season :)

'tis the season for good cheer and merriment (scratch the needle on the record here!)

I am so excited for Christmas.  on Thursday... YES... December 1st.  I am putting up my tree....

Oh how I have missed thee tree!  it has been 2 years since I have been able to put up Christmas!!!  excited is not the word!

I think I know what I am getting Hubby for Christmas.... no I am not going to tell you... he reads this .... stop prying!  I have no idea what to get me Mum though.  Hmm... I tried to find out what my Sister wants but she wouldn't give my Mum any hints and I refuse to just ask someone what they want I have not done that in the past I like the element of surprise.  We stopped Birthdays years ago so in 2011 I guess we are stopping Christmas.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  Hubby and I had a nice day together.  We had prime rib roast and Yorkshire pudding it was delicious!!!  We watched the Ravens win and I started playing Zelda, skyward sword on the Wii.... I love the Wii.

I was off on black Friday and very thankful for that.  I heard that the store was nuts and this year there is a lot people getting table saws, maglites and batteries for Christmas!  HA HA HA  we had some really good sales over the entire weekend and Saturday and Sunday were both busy.

This morning I played Uncharted 3 on the PS3 (winter is here and there is nothing on TV) and I vacuumed the family room and made the dog food.  very productive.  I have to work today until 9pm, but that doesn't bother me either!  I would like to sneak out early and hit BJ's we are dangerously low on peanut butter (it is not pretty when Hubby runs out) so I need some STAT!!!!!!!

We took the dogs to the park on Friday also and they had such a good time.  I love to see them just run and be free.  It is very fun.  this time i did not run with them therefore I did not fall!!! My rib is almost healed and it only hurts when I sneeze or cough now so probably one more week and I will be back to 100%.

Oh and my tapestry showed up F I N A L L Y this weekend.  It is beautiful and well worth the wait.  I need to measure for the the rod and then pick one out, but I want the Hubby to help with that.  Then I guess it is time to pick out the paint.

I am taking Mum to the doctors on Wednesday so I need to plan for that nights meal.  Maybe a crockpot yummy delight!  The weather is nuts and it gets cold then it is too hot!  we are all going to get sick!  Eat up your veggies and antioxident foods to ward off the common cold!!!!

Well I suppose it is time to get ready for work.  so until next post......
