Looking Forward

September 2011 was one of the most defining months of my life.  I went from feeling in control and secure to being attacked and then ultimately loved for who I am, not who someone else wants me to be.  All the Thanks for my recovery goes to my Hubby, who is the most amazing person I have ever met.  It felt really good to know how much someone really knew me, my intent and my faults.  My Hubby has me feeling like the luckiest person in the world and together we are our own.

Now October begins and just like 9 years ago, a new beginning, a fresh start.  No more will I stew in silence and then explode weeks, months or years later.  Always wanting to say the right thing pleases everyone else, but puts my insides in turmoil.  Hubby has taught me that I should come first for myself, not anyone else (even him!).

Growing up is hard, and I know I am hardly young, but then I still think that I should be me.  I am good at what I do professionally, I love my family no matter what, but for both arenas I will be stronger when it comes to sticking up for myself.

All that being said.  I doubt most of you will see any change. 

Moving on to Fun stuff!

Hubby and I went on vacation in September and had such a wonderful time.  We went back to the Old Country and visited with my family.  It was so much fun.  Everyone made us so welcome and we Thank you all for everything.  I promise pictures to follow!  My mum had the Wogadogs and I think they loved it!  I know they loved the cheese mix up and getting htem back on cottage cheese has been hard!!!!  They will get over it!

The house is coming along and the break away from the overwhelming pile of things with no home was wonderful.  We both came back with strong ideas and solutions to some storage problems.  In fact things are already taking place and the house is ready for its next nig event.... Our new couch delivery on Thursday!  I can't wait!  To be able to just lay on a couch again is a treat that we both have missed! 

Well I have so much more to tell, but I have to go to work.  The lottery is not cooperating with my plan to win it! So I soldier on!  perhaps it is time to find a Monday thru Friday Job!
