What's Normal about all this?

5 Days until Lili's follow up visit with the Doctor and 12 Days until we are no longer living in this house. 

First Lili, she is coming along so well since I last posted that she took 2 steps.  Lili can now navigate the backyard and wants to play ball.  Back to normal, with the exception of a 6 inch incision down the straight of her back.  The only thing of real concern to me about Lili walking so soon after is that I hope she is not overdoing it.  She seems to know when she has had enough and will rest in the dog bed.  Today we carefully allowed her to be free from her playpen jail and she enjoyed mingling with the other dogs.  Daisy and Pepper really could have cared less only Buddy seems to have a concerning attraction to her and he is on a short leash in how close he is allowed to get to her. 

My Sister came home this weekend and we arranged with our Realtor a visit inside the new house so that both my Mum and Sister could see it.  They both liked it very much and I cannot wait until we live there and make it our home.  Our Realtor has been wonderful through our whole search and sale and I cannot thank her enough for all the help, advice and care she has taken of us.  It has been a truly wonderful experience buying this new house.  Makes the last 2 times a distant memory in how terrible they ended.  The 4 of us then went to brunch on Solomons Island and found a new restaurant that we had never been to before and it was delicious.

Hubby and I packed more stuff and are just waiting on our POD delivery so we can load up and be gone.  In the end I will always remember this house as one that my Dad was able to see us in and enjoy with us on many occasion.  Whether he was here to spend time with us or entertain my neurosis for white outlets and switches I will always think warm thoughts of this house.  Funnily enough the house, as we all noticed, has 2 lights at the front door that are really large and they are the exact same light as what my Dad picked out and put up at my parents house.  We call that light the beacon.  Don't you think that was a sign?  I do!!  Also the new house has 2 breaker boxes and they are not even full, my Dad would have loved that too!  I know I sound like the daughter of an electrician!!!!

The next 12 days are going to be especially long ones as in my mind I have already moved.  In a way I suppose Lili is keeping my mind off it.  As I would have excited myself out of sleep a week ago I am sure!!!
