What a week....

Oh my goodness, our poor Lili has been very unwell and because of how she had been acting we had to take her to the vet, which got ugly and now we are getting a new vet.  Last weekend Lili started acting really funny and then wouldn't eat and just layed around making horrible groaning noises.  Sunday I took her for a walk and she seemed full of life and loved our walk, until we got to the end.  She would not go up the driveway.  It seems Lili also does not want to live here anymore either!!! ha ha ha.  Anyway Monday she was still acting really goofy so we took her to the vet and he prceeded to take digital x-rays of her and showed us on the screen that she only had 1 rather large kidney.  Immediately he wanted to keep her overnight and presented us with an estimate of just under $1,000.00 dollars.... ummm no!  He told us he would do a course of antibiotics and check on her in the morning, well I can do that, plus Lili is not the kind of dog that does well just being left. So we opted for bringing her home and being on pills, Hubby and I just had a bad feeling about leaving her also.  Then the next day he called with her results and her bloodwork was fine and the x-ray tech looked of the x-rays and her kidneys (yes she has 2) were also fine.  Lili also ate her dinner and played.  We thing that Buddy got overly aggressive with her whilst we were at work and she has pulled muscle or tweaked something.  Then the vets office called on Wednesday to ask for more money that they had for got to charge us and that lady had different opinions on the health of Lili.  So we are now hoping to get back in with the old vet that is nearly an hour away, but well worth the trip.  Sometimes you just don't know what you have until you let it go.  Today, Friday, Hubby and I were both off and we took all 4 dogs for a walk and we all had a great time!

Also this week we accepted an offer on the house and now that the buyer has completed the home inspection we are just waiting on the appraisal, but it all looks like it is a done deal.... We can officially announce we are on the move.  What an exciting prospect and so looking forward to it!  YAY progress.  I am beside myself with excitement and we have 5 house that we want to see inside, we have stalked these house from the outside as is our nature and now it is our decision!!!!!
