Evolve.... Well at Least Try....

H E L L O - I know I know and I hear your grief! I have been an absent blogger, but with nothing to report I would just have to fill the pages with blah blah blahs!

So so very sorry for not keeping you all updated. So here goes. We have not moved yet, we have not even put our house on the market and we are not close to doing so... or are we? You see I live with Spurty Spice and Spurty Spice wanted to move way back in August of 2009, yes August of 2009, and so we hurried up and got a storage place... YAY... and we hurried up and packed some stuff to put in the storage place... YAY... and we stopped, it was the Holidays after all! Then Spurty Spice saw a house he liked and we were back on packing and storing, packing and storing and then that house was purchased by someone else and it snowed... a lot... Then Spurty Spice decided we needed another storage spot for the "outdoor stuff and tools" so now we are paying for 2 storage places. :-) Yippee - So today as I type to you I have paid for Junes storage and in 2 more months it will have been a year... I love a good anniversary... don't you.... Seriously though all kidding and joking aside I am really really r e a l l y bored with all this and want my stuff back. I have not even used my Christmas presents yet and my Birthday is nearly here! (June 26 for anyone who would like to know or has forgotten!!)

Other than that saga not much going on here. Hubby and I did attend a class at the Smithsonian last Thursday given by Steve Raichlen, an author and PBS star who has written a new book, Planet Barbecue and Hubby also got his picture taken with him. It was excellent and we learned a lot about how Barbecue is done all over the world and look forward to trying some of the worldly recipes from Planet Barbecue once we move (it is a horrible little circle my life right now)

This upcoming weekend is Memorial Day and for once I am off, that never happens, and we are going to Springfest, held by the Maryland Brewers Association in Frederick Maryland so we are going to hopefully meet up with Tom and taste some Summer Brew! well I will be driving, but Hubby can taste brew! Then on Sunday we are going to my Aunts House for a family Barbecue and I do work Monday, Retail is always open! But after work we going to Hubby's Sisters house for May Birthdays. and then Tuesday is June and the countdown begins... Hubby has a Special Birthday coming up in June and I have some pretty neat things planned. I would tell you all, but Hubby has the link to this blog and then it would not be a surprise anymore, but once they happen I will keep you updated!!!!!

All this should bring you up to date. I am going to try and do better with this blog and not be so absent. I am excited to move, I am excited to see my stuff again, I am excited to see family and I am excited for June Birthdays, cause I have one of them!!! HA HA HA
