Do you ever have a dream so real that you think that something happened even though it didn't and then you get confused because you don't understand what is going on? Well just that thing happened to me! I dreamed that I had updated my blog only to come here today to find that I hadn't it is the only explanation. Plus I am having issues with remembering things. It is a development that I am not pleased about!
To bring you up to date since the last post (2 weeks ago) smack me! I have been at work of course and packing of course. It must sound like we have a lot of stuff but we are just slow. It did make me sad the other day when we went to the storage place to drop more stuff off. I want my stuff back. Here comes the bad news. There is nothing out there for us to buy.. N O T H I N G it is a real estate wasteland of split foyers on main roads, that is the most heinous combination and a definite NO. We are totally against a split foyer. I never understood that style house and am not a fan of that style house. I want a nice house with a porch, to sit on, and a basement for Hubby to go live in HA HA HA he can come upstairs to shower and eat, unless we put a shower in the basement. Just kidding!!!! (No I am not) Yes I am. Evil Devil voice is in my head today.
American Idol has started back up and so far there are 4 girls for me that have a real shot at the crown (or contract!) then in 2 weeks Dancing with the stars is back. Reality TV is back and it is good for me, not so much for Hubby he is not a fan.
As for our Sports update. The Wizards are over. The season can not end fast enough. The Capitals are playoff bound, we are 4 weeks away from opening day... LETS GO O's and hopefully we break 500 this year. That would be a gift, but the most exciting Sports News is the Ravens signed, not one, but two wide receivers giving us hope for the new football season that is months away. Cannot wait for Football this year. in the middle of all this is the World Cup and I am still torn as to my rooting loyalty, just because of who I am England will win out during the head to head match up but I will support the USA as well. Then there is the Tennis, I must admit I have not been as dedicated this year to Tennis and I need to be, it is sport I enjoy watching.
Work is getting busy and I am so glad, perhaps sales will be in the not to distant future and help me to maintain this lifestyle to which I have become accustomed!!! Just kidding!!!
On Saturday Hubby took my Mother and i out to lunch at a new Irish Pub (I will use that term loosely) the food was pretty good, but the atmosphere was not very good at all. Hubby wants to give them a second chance so I guess I'm in but I could do without it. Plus they were playing Scottish Music and that is not very Irish. I think they have an identity problem!
