I know, I know. One third of the year is gone... poof... just like that! The good news is May brings family across the big "pond" to visit for what can only be described on my end as YEA!!!!!!!!
So as to my last post, I did knuckle down and went on a cleaning spree if it sat still it got dusted, wiped or washed. If it looked at me the wrong way Pledge was my back up and Pledge struck mightily!!! HA HA HA...
Well my Fave was voted off of Idol Wednesday night, but watch out Matt will be back! I am not sure who I want to win now. It's almost like the year I voted for Jennifer Hudson after she was gone I lost interest. I thought that Taylor Hicks performed spectacularly especially after Natalie Cole I did not think that it was up to Pink Cadillac standards!!!
Yesterday I watched as the Queen Mary 2 pulled out of dock, thanks to their web cam, and is steaming here everyday to bring to me my Aunt and Uncle. Did you know that in Southampton yesterday all three RMS ships were in dock at the same time for the last time. It is apparently very rare for this to happen. I also learned that these ships are dedicated as RMS and not HMS because they carry mail. Well aren't we just learning new things everyday?
I am planning for the family BBQ that we are throwing in Aunt and Uncles honor at the end of May, as you all know I love a good theme and what better theme to have is a good old fashioned BBQ!!! Can you stand it? I have already purchased plates and Napkins and Hubby has already decided on a main course so now its just sides, snacky bits and cake!
Well Mum went to her Sisters for the weekend so I must dash as I need to get her and get to the market for supplies. Now that I think about it it has been weeks since I heard from my Sister, I wonder what she has been up to? Hmmmmmmm. When Khloe KArdashian went missing it was because she met a boy... Oh Sister where are you, a mind tends to wander!
One, last thing... Yesterday was a sports day, we watched the Capitals beat the Penguins in game 1. We watched as the O's lose again, we were there when a 50-1 shot won the Kentucky Derby and we were still watching when Kyle Busch won the Richmond Race on his 21st Birthday!!! Then after watching so much sport all day I had to watch the highlight show HA HA HA...
Well off to get Mother and hit the shops!
Til next post.....
