The 100th Post!

Can you believe it this is the 100th post!

I am still enjoying posting so it will continue.

What a week I have had:

First: Hubby's Birthday gift arrived and is safely stored at my Mothers house, due to space obligations our house is now officially filled up! There is no more room at the Inn! Stick a fork in it we are done!

Second: Also arriving in the mail this week is a photo scanner, which accepts negatives and converts them into the computer and whola! you can edit them, retouch them or make a slide show.... Yea (I love slide shows)!

Third: I thought I got everything yesterday, but apparently I forgot to get an onion. I am going to make a Pork Pie...again. It got rave reviews the last time and so with company here I thought I would try it out on them! With Aunt M noting to me the other day that she didn't get any of the last one I will have to coordinate it! (or blame it on Mum if she doesn't get any again!!!!!)

Fourth: American Idol's Finale was last night and it was a fantastic show. The only thing I am allowed to say about the winner is He has 4 letters in his first name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though in all seriousness it is my understanding, because my Uncle told me so, He kicked My Mother and Aunty M to the basement because he couldn't take another night of it!! (Any way Rod was on and we all remember last summer don't we?..... Well I do it is burned in my brain never to leave!) Poor Uncle I he must have thought his Sister was nuts or maybe it was a confirmation! I told Hubby that I bet she was screaming and going nuts, I was right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fifth: Tuesday Evening Hubby and I drove to the neighborhood beach to watch a rocket leave earth from Wallops Island. Although Wallops Island is in Virginia and on the Eastern Shore quite a way we were still able to see the Rocket as it took a satellite into space. Due to distance and a digital camera I did not get a clear picture. Next time we are taking the big camera that has the long distance lens on it!

Sixth: We are getting ready for our lunch that we will be having next Saturday and so just finalizing the sides with Hubby! I think I will also make Brownies in the coolest Brownie pan ever. (Speaking of Williams and Sonoma anyone for crepes? W&S has a crepe kit that I really want (hmm what does that mean hmm)

Seventh: Jimmie Johnson will be driving the 48 at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Sunday Evening and he is going to have the names of over 12,000 Lowe's employees on the car in remembrance of all who have or are serving in our nations military, so nice!

Eighth: In thinking about number six, that's just shameless!

Well I must dash to the market for an onion, and maybe some grapes! Til next post...
