Hubby is constructing again...

Yes you read it right! Hubby has started a new project and in the space of 4 days my home looks like a thrift store with no sense of order. HELP!!!!! there is stuff everywhere. Apparently scientific study has been completed and it has been decided that we need to build a wall in our basement to protect the television from the elements!! The elements being dust, pledge and a duster cannot do the job alone! (Yes I too wonder, and am speechless)

So as of last post I watched idol, WOW, is all I can say, really a bikini? Lets hope she has an alternative career. I was very pleased to see that we did not focus on the bad so much this year and are going with talent, previous comment not included!!! I like the new judge and she can sing so there's that. Ryan on the other hand I think he looks better casual than when they put him in a suit, he looks to stuffy, and he is still cute so he is passing the HD test. Simon is a little crackly in the face for the HD so it is taking a little getting used too.

I sent away for and received in the mail yesterday the Steel Magnolia Cookbook, obsession is a virtue, and although I know I shouldn't be I am quite surprised at the amount of Crisco that is being used in the recipes. But I am sure I can rework some of those!!

Due to the cold (11 degrees) we are forgoing the dogs beach trip this weekend. Did you know it was 47 degrees in Alaska. Why is Alaska warmer than here? If I here the blame being placed on Global Warming one more time I think I will go bananas.

Ok, back to the construction news. The Wii and PS3 has been temporarily been disconnected and I was at a critical point in my game. Huh! So hopefully we will be back up and running sooner, rather than later. I curse you 3 day weekends for people that are left home alone. See what happens. Chaos!!!

So of course I will keep you updated as to the progress, lets hope its a couple of weeks to a month, not 4 years like the last one, come to think of it that projects not completed yet? I must find out what is going on here.....
