It has been the craziest week...

Maybe get comfy, this could be a long one!!!

So since I last posted a lot has happened. Of course Thursday was Thanksgiving, I would have posted, but I had a lot to do... It all started when I was strong armed into changing my day off at work and I had to work on Black Friday, for some reason that escapes me Lowe's calls it Super Friday, but whatever. So I thought I was going to be off that day and had a last minute switch and I ended up with the weekend before Thanksgiving off. This has thrown my whole laundry schedule into a tail spin. I am nearly back on track. you see I love it when all my clothes are clean and hanging neatly in my closet. Strange I know but what are you gonna do? Back to the weekend. So Mum and I went out and about on the Saturday which I used all my Best Buy reward zone coupons and got the new PS3 tomb raider game for 10 bucks, what a deal! While we were there Mum decided she wanted a new TV for the living room and so long story short, we ended up in Annapolis to get the best deal. We got back to Mums by 7:30pm and I proceeded to assemble the new TV stand and got the TV in place. Mum then decided that she did not like the way her furniture was arranged and so we rearranged that. At 10:30 I was done and came home and went straight to bed.

On Sunday I awoke and got on the Wii and did my aerobics, and then I played Tomb Raider. I played Tombraider all day, well until the Ravens game started. I watched TV and pretty much did nothing Sunday, a decision that would come back to bite me during the week.

Monday I worked til 7pm and after dinner Mum and I went to the store for supplies for dinner on Thursday. I had decided that I wanted to do Thanksgiving dinner again for 2 reasons: 1- I do not have to leave my house and 2:- I do not have to leave my house!!!!!!!!!!! anyway a funny, funny thing happened at the grocery store, sorry Mum I am telling on you!, My Mum asked the cashier for a book of stamps, I could not hear the exchange, but my Mum made a face that was priceless. When she was done and we were leaving I asked my Mum "what's wrong" and my Mum said " she asked me if I wanted Madonna or Nutcracker stamps and so I got the nutcracker ones, but why would Madonna be on a stamp?" I said "Mum, not Madonna, THE MADONNA" to which my Mum replied "Oh that makes sense. I though she meant Madonna!" Mum I love you so much, you are so funny!!!! And that was Monday.

On Tuesday I worked late and so I did not get much done. I did make truffles when I came home.

Wednesday I also worked late, and by late I mean 9pm!, I come home and made Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, then I made Chocolate Chip Cookies. At 1:30am Thursday I cleaned up and went to bed.

Thursday I got up early, 6ish, and I made an Apple Pie and it took a couple of hours I had to make the crust and all. after that was done I made the green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole. I got ready for the day, thank the world for warming drawers!!!! I played Tombraider for about an hour and then our guests arrived, My Mum, My Sister and My Sisters friend. As they were arriving I was making fudge. after that I made the mashed potato's and stuffing, Hubby deep fried the turkey and smoked the ham on the smoker and I made gravy and heated up the dinner rolls. We were ready to eat. Even though I made the sides, they were delicious!!!!!!!!!! Much later after dinner we had dessert, also super yummy!!

Friday, err Friday. I had to be at work for 5:45 am and when I got there, early, there was a line, a line!!!! It has been years since I have seen at Lowe's. So when I got home from work on Friday I was so exhausted that I chilled out and fell asleep.

Saturday I was very busy at work and had some great sales, but once again when I got home I went to sleep early. I did have to go to work Sunday and that was fun. I always try and have a good time at work it just makes the day much more pleasant and go by faster.

So that brings you up to date on everything. Mum and I have a new adventure planned for Wednesday so I will keep you posted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
